During Diwali our homes are lit with lamps, but our hearts tend to be filled with the darkness of ignorance, anger, fear, greed, jealousy, resentment, worry… All the lights of the world cannot he compared “even to a ray” of the inner light of the “Divine”. Let us illuminate our heart with the inner Divine, Supreme Light of Love and Compassion, Forgiveness, Faith, and fill our mind with Peace and experience the True Anandam and Bliss of Diwali, and spread it to others. One is celebrated in March–April (Sri Rama Navratri/Chaitra/autumn), the other one is in September–October (Durga-Navaratri/Ashvina/spring). The dates are determined based on the lunar cycle.
