Dear Friends,

thnks

The Thanksgiving Holiday is celebrated each year on the fourth Thursday of November in America. It is the day to remind ourselves to express our gratitude to our family members, friends, and God/Almighty forgiving everything we have in our lives.

I am thankful to all of my adored friends and family members who encourage, support, and offer guidance through my life. Even when they tell me the harsh truth or give me consequences, it is their love I often cherish. All of you have made my life extra special. On Thanksgiving Day and every day I appreciate all of you.

As we express our gratitude for all the blessings showered upon us, let us also remember to pray for those who are hungry, friendless, without adequate shelter and are wanting both in need and spirit.

As Lord Krishna says in Gita, “One who does not help others and keep the wheel of creation in motion by selfless service and sacrificial duty, but lives only for his own pleasures, such a person certainly leads a useless life, full of sins and live sin vain, O Arjuna.” (Gita 3.16)

Thanks Giving is the time to share pray and thank. Let us take some time this week to express our gratitude, meditate and pray. Let’s light the candle, fold our hands together, sit quietly, close our eyes, fix the mind on the light of candle, and thank and pray together to God.

Thanksgiving Meditation and Prayers

O’  God I am Thankful
For my life and family
For each new morning
For rest and shelter of the night
For sun to light and warm our days
For my eyes to see  and ears to hear
For arms to hug, and legs to walk,
For health and food, and all the good friends
For the freedom to enjoy it all, and all other Blessing
For everything that GOD has given us
Thank You for Your Generosity God!
At the same time we should pray to God:
When I have food, help me to remember the hungry
When I have work, help me to remember the jobless
When I have a home, help me to remember the homeless
When I am happy, help me to remember those who suffer
And encourage me to share with others my resources,
my thoughts, my speech and my deeds

“Happy Thanksgiving to All”

satya

Sincerely,
The Path to Anandam Team
